As to the OP...this is when I find myself wondering if s/he is for real, or if instead this is intended as some kind of sick parody of what someone thinks a conservative or a Republican is.
To me, the idea that this question is even "worth" asking is offensive. I care about one thing when I vote for someone: their ideas. Period. My voting record ignores all racial boundaries. If I agree with your political positions (fiscally conservative, socially moderate), then I will vote regardless of any irrelevant factors such as race.
So whats the new term?

And this thread is so silly. Here, in Australia, we have a different system. But I've always voted for the person who I think will do a better job for this country. Sadly neither option pleases me at the moment.
It is always worth asking and discussing how race plays into politics. Same with gender, age, appearance. It was just not phrased well or with any indication that real discussion was sought.
