That and Dexter (barely now) are the only two reasons I'd plunk down 10 bucks a month for Showtime when fresh eppies air.
Homeland did have some rolleye moments, but very few and far between. It'll be interesting to see if that storyline can be maintained without getting too convoluted or characters just being tacked on...
Looks like the Lizard Queen landed on her feet.
moments because of just how unstable some of these characters are, and the obvious writer attempts to mislead the audience (which, honestly, 24 desensitized me to). Watching it all in one sitting was helpful... I think this show would have driven me crazy week to week-- but altogether on a mandatory day at home? Pretty fun to tear through.I watched first episode the other night by accident, and I have to say it was a bit 'rolleyes'. It seemed quite overdone and over the top, and somehow I just couldn't buy the OTT-ness like I do with 24. I think I'll give it another go though for fairness.
The show definitely has some strong 24 vibe, but it's expected since the creators are from 24. I loved it, the actors are great, especially Damian Lewis and Claire Danes, the plot was interesting and the last episode was one of the best I've seen on any show.
I wonder where they will go in the second season, considering the ending of the first.
Probably my favorite show from last year. I really enjoyed most of it aside from the goofy (at times) relationship between Brody and Carrie. I just wondering how long it will be before Mandy Patinkin quits.
