George Lucas may be a money whore when it comes to milking his STAR WARS franchise, but at least they guy isn't the raging, inconsiderate and egotistical asshole that James Cameron is. Actors might complain that Lucas always gives them difficult and strange dialogue, but at least they enjoyed working with him and most were his friends afterwards. Cameron alienates a lot of the people he works with and whips them like pack mules. I just don't see Leo DiCaprio, Schwarzenegger, Ed Harris or others being terribly warm and fond of the guy after their experiences with him. Hell, Linda Hamilton even divorced the man because he was such a bastard and so difficult to be married to.
Lucas for the win.
Cameron does often encourage a lot of loyalty among some actors. Some appreciate his work ethic. Like Michael Biehn, who's worked with Cameron several times.
And Schwarzenegger and Cameron have worked together four times. And they're close friends. Schwarzenegger even asked Cameron if it was okay if he do Terminator movies without him.
I'm not passing judgement on Cameron either way, positive or negative, and none of this really matters to the topic at hand...but I just thought I'd mention it, anyway.
