Naked guy, in space, over Vulcan

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuk.jpg

Not naked, kind of looks like a TMP era uniform. His (her) head is a different color, and the hands. There does appear to be a "something" around the left thigh. Look at the way the pant legs merge into the shoes, like with the TMP uniform.

Does anyone else think that could be his shadow on the hull section below him.

He might not be from one of the ship Nero destroyed. If you think about it, he could have been in Vulcan orbit for years.

it looks to me more like it's really just a piece of twisted debris.
And what is a man, if not that?

:)

That's a much better blow up of the screen shot than I had. I'll concede it's a person.

Folks, this is what it's come down to. We're smart, rational people picking apart split-second frames from ST09 to find out whether or not a body (naked or cloathed) is floating in space. I blame Abrams for this. WE NEED PHOTOS FROM THE NEW SHOOT TO PICK APART, MR. ABRAMS! Damn your bloody security so that no one can even release a sneaked snapshot! Damn your bloody secrecy so the actors can't speak squat about their characters or even nibs of the story!

*Um, sorry.*

Back on topic: I think I see a moustache on the guy. Also, are those officer's stripes on his sleeve? Anyone else see these? C'mon we have to ID this guy! ;) :p

Definitely a gold or tan miniskirt-tunic on her. And standard issue go-go boots. That's why you're imagining there's something on her left thigh - you're seeing the gap between the boot and the skirt hem.

Have fun looking for naked corpses, that's fine, but I hope you don't end up digging for body parts.

The most disturbing part of those shots is the fact that all starships tend to end up in the same spot in Vulcan's orbit. Why would they do that?

I clicked on the link and the website was blocked. I can only conclude (having not seen the image) that the guy was naked.

Maybe that is the designated "approach vector" for ships entering Vulcan orbital space.

Also, all ships in relatively close formation that left Earth at the the same time, travel at about the same speed, might arrive at Vulcan at roughly the same time and space, in the same relatively close formation?

Say it ain't so!

Makes sense since they didn't seem to suspect they were going to face hostilities. As it is, they probably made it like shooting fish in a barrel for Nero all coming out of warp in the same basic spot with their shields down. That would also explain how the fleet was destroyed so quickly.

Naked guys in space...in the future.

Once again proving why Rush's 2112 album is the greatest thing ever.
