All Apologies...

This thread gives me hope that humanity can one day come together in understanding and brotherhood.

And start a shitload of Internet message board threads about canceled TV shows.

I don't get the 'canceled tv shows' part, but that's okay. Oh, and my two cents on that is, bring back The X-Files!:D

I hear rumors there'll be a third movie, but for all practical purposes I think the TV show is dead and buried. At this point in their careers I don't think Duchovny and Anderson want to return to the grind of that show.

If it were revived I think they'd get two new lead agents played by different actors and start from scratch, but like I said I've seen no indication that 20th Century Fox has any interest in restarting or rebooting the series. News like that would be all over the place. It'd be cool...but probably isn't gonna happen.

Oh, I was mostly kidding. That show came seriously close to crashing and burning in it's last season (though, I seem to be in the minority of people that actually enjoyed season 9). And yes, there is a 3rd movie in the works. If it doesn't happen I'm going to be seriously pissed, because as far as I'm concerned, if they don't show the Alien Apocalypse, then the entire show was pointless.

Oh, it'll happen, I bet. Still probably 10-20 years away, though. The X-Generation. Give it time.

10-20? That's optimistic, mate. I'll be lucky to avoid the question, "Grandpa, is it true that the X-Files was once a TV-series?"

It's the uplifting, hopeful Star Trek vision of our future -- humans come together to create a peaceful, harmonious utopia on Earth... so that we may go out into space and fight with aliens instead.

So long as some of them are buxom green-skinned women in tinfoil bikinis I say...bring it on. (*Locks and loads*)

I've dressed up as an Andorian on a few occasions....Not green skin, but I loooved having blue skin. I'd love to get surgery to have Vulcan ears, Andorian skin, and Vorta(specifically Weyoun) eyes....I'd turn myself on so much I wouldn't need a man...
