It just occurred to me that she has a striking resemblance to Emma Roberts. I've been trying to figure it out for a while, but now it's totally obvious. I guess having a "pure" picture to go by helps a lot.

And from what I've read GH has the better personality. Scuttlebutt on Roberts is she inherited some of daddy's anger issues.

Can't act to save her life either. Completely made it on her name alone. I recently saw It's Kind of a Funny Story and thought she brought the whole film down, which is sad because Galifianakis (who I don't normally care for) was excellent in it.

Agreed. I thoroughly enjoyed that movie on all sorts of levels, but when Roberts was on-screen the movie screeched to a thudding halt. She has the acting range of a background extra in a silent movie, only less interesting to watch. I'm no fan of Eric or Julia either, but in their defense they can outact her.

But not by a helluva lot.

Eric is a better actor than his daughter AND his sister. Any doubters, check out the western/scifi Purgatory. Also, Eric's appearance on SVU a few years ago.

He was in THE DARK KNIGHT but had a limited supporting role without a lot of dialogue. I wonder if his criminal underworld character would have been more interesting had Christopher Nolan given Roberts more to do. But since his character wasn't all that integral to the plot I suppose he was never going to be much of a presence in the movie.

Eric Roberts by himself can be creepier than Heath Ledger in Joker makeup!

I think those of you who think Eric Roberts is a better actor than his sister are nuts. Neither Eric or his daughter can act their way out of a paper bag. Julia isn't worth what she's paid, but she'd far better than either of the other two.

Robert Downey, Jr. is better than any of the Roberts clan. The man got an Oscar nomination for playing Charlie Chaplin and is currently the title star in two blockbuster franchises. He also has vastly more range than Eric Roberts or his sister and has proven his chops in comedies, historical dramas, thrillers and action films. Julia is the same damn thing in every movie she's ever been in, and even as Erin Brockovich she was about as impressive as a game of tic-tac-toe.
