The grocery store disgusts me sometimes...

The only complaint I have against fat people is some of them dress wrongly. If someone is obese than stretched pants is not a good idea.

I find loose fitting trousers (and I mean leg wise) tend to work better. But tighter fitting pants tend to work better (as you where them under your trousers). ;)

And yes I know America uses the term pants to refer to what we Brit's call trousers.

In Australia, we use both terms. To avoid confusion we usually refer to what you call 'pants' as 'undies' or 'panties'.

So, there really are people wearing only their pyjamas in grocery stores in the US? :wtf: And I thought I had seen everything! The closest thing I've seen was a man in what looked like a night gown but it was supposed to be a summer dress. He also has nasty looking rash and filthy hair. I stood a little farther away from him in the queue because of it, though not 6 ft. ;) Cross-dressing isn't all fun. :(

I apologize for using that word. I'm not sure how to spell it though..? Anyway also need to research before hand too. :)

Don't worry. As Locutus stated in his infinite wisdom, the Bronies will love you for it. ;)

(Though if you do want the correct spelling, it's "heinous").

I hate to say it but I have been the uncessary pyjama person in the grocery store and have been guilty of it from time to time.

Girls in pajamas do annoy me, but not for bad reasons. Well, okay, maybe for bad reasons, but not for bad, bad reasons. Wait, what I mean is that my reasons would be bad, not bad in the sense of "that's bad" (as in not good), but bad as in "badass" or "that's awesome". To be bad without being in a bad way, if bad was to mean something good, not something not good or bad bad. That kind of bad.

Wait, let me try again: I want to be bad to women in pajamas.

There.

I also can't stand jerks in the parking lot screaming at the top of your lungs "go to hell!" That happened once at a Krogers for Dad and I. The dude couldn't drive to save his life and Dad, unwillingly, rolled down his window and politely said: "you know if you don't know how to drive you need to go on home" The man responded by saying: GO TO HELL at the top of his lungs. I don't know what was barking up his tree that day..apparantly something terribly wrong.

Oh, parking lot etiquette is non-existent, no matter where you go!

:guffaw:You're hilarious. And yes, it really is. What's worse it was with a fairly decent wealthy looking man! I couldn't(nor Dad) get over the fact that the guy was shouting at the top of his lungs in the middle of the parking lot BEFORE Christmas time! Looks like the guy has to take parking lot etiquette 101 before he passes by. I try and let the mean ones slide..but the lady and her mother in the parking lot had me just baffled.:wtf:

I have ony seen someone shopping in a dressing gown and pyjamas once. It was so unusual that everyone stared at her.

I once had a nightmare in which I forgot to get changed and went shopping in my nightie and dressing gown. I guess I am too sedate to have dreams in which I am doing stuff in the nude.

I won't even go out to the letter box in my dressing gown.

Oh lord Miss Chicken! I hope that in my feeble age I don't end up doing something like that. Here in the US, especially in the south where I'm from, it's normal to wear your PJ's out. I've seen a lot of people at Wal-Mart wearing them lately. I do on occasion but try not to, especially since I've now started job searching again.

Speaking of what not to wear at stores or whatnot, I love Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck Fashion Tips on his Blue Collar Comedy deal. :) He says that, "if your rear end looks like the hood of a Ford pickup truck after a hail storm, SAY NO TO SPANDEX!!" :D I've never laughed so hard because it's SOOO true where I come from. :) He goes: Tight ain't always right!

Nobody does something like that unwillingly. It takes thought to roll down a window, then tell someone to go home, as if you have any place telling them something like that. If your dad did that, he was the first one being an obnoxious jerk.

^ If a driver's being such a jackass that he's endangering other drivers, the dad DID have a place telling that driver to go home. If I drove like that, I'd expect to get an earful from anyone within range.

By whose judgement is he being that bad of a driver, though? Whose to say if he's endangering others or not?

And if he WAS driving that bad, do you think "Dad" would have been able to calmly pull up alongside, roll down the window, and politely tell him that?

Although I hate to generalize, I've learned the hard way not to go to the grocery store on whatever day(s) food stamps are disbursed. On the occasions where I've done that, I encountered some of the rudest, angriest people I've ever met in my life.

I get that being poor isn't fun, but that's no reason to ram my cart while you give me an "I wish you were fucking dead" glare. :(

Interesting, I'm in grocery stores a lot as part of my work, and I find that the people whom appear to have money are by far the most rude, as if they own the store.

Overweight people in stores...Yes, I feel sorry for them much of the time, but it shocks me how many of them there are, they can barely breathe and move through the store a decent pace. As a personal trainer as well, I have to think in my head what changes they can make, but there are a great deal of things they've done to get to that point on their own. I see a lot of "normal" or slightly chubby people whose carts are FILLED with processed food..literally saw a mother and daughter the other day with 90% of their food in boxes. I nearly fell over.

RAMA

It's likely they didn't have a lot of money to spend. I buy lots of boxed items because I can make it last over the course of a week, whereas with fresh food, it's a bit more difficult, especially if one doesn't have the cabinet or refrigerator space.

Wait, let me try again: I want to be bad to women in pajamas.
Especially the ones with the button-up backflaps.

Oh, yeah. That's a given.

Generally speaking processed food in boxes is more expensive than buying the real article.

^I would disagree with that, you can dor example pick up a Lasgne that would serve 4 for say £5. The seperat ingrediants would cost more than that. The meat would be at least 60% of that.
