Didn't Majel "only" do alternate episodes of Voyager? Who did the other episodes?

IMDb has Majel credited with voicing the Voyager computer for 114 episodes out of the total 170, and I can't recall ever hearing of another actor doing computer-voice duties on Voyager. (I'd guess that if you were to check transcripts for the other 56 episodes, you'd find that the ship's computer simply had no lines.)

The funniest thing is, everytime I think about that idea, I can hear that Texan drawl over the comm.

Someone should edit a vid of ST:XI with soundbites from Sheldon.

Kirstie Alley was the original choice for the new computer voice but J.J. couldn't pry the ham-loaf out of her cheek pouches to get a clear sentence... :rommie:

Checkov: Captain! There is a disturbance in space!
    Kirk: A disturbance?
Computer: Under normal circumstances I'd say I told you so. But, as I have told so with such vehemence and frequency already the phrase has lost all meaning. Therefore, I will be replacing it with the phrase, I have informed you thusly.

A good voice for the computer would be James Earl Jones as Darth Vader...then watch fans heads explode.

I think you're probably thinking of Enterprise. On Voyager, Majel always did the Federation computer. On Enterprise, she only voiced the computer in the mirror universe episodes. But that's not because they cast someone else, it's because the computers on the NX-01 didn't speak. And also, of course, on DS9 they had Judi Durand do the Cardassian computer on the station, but Majel still did all the Federation computer voices, like the Defiant and the runabouts.

Which episode was the computer calling Kirk "dear"?

I should know, but my memory is on vacation at the moment...
That one should be Kirstie Alley
