Ok I know this is a little weird but I wonder if someone knows the answer. When T'Pol and Trip are together in the Harbinger episode and T'Pol removes her PJ's her back has no blemishes or birthmarks. The same is true for this image:

But in the movie Diamond Hunters in the love scene her back is covered with birthmarks and blemishes. Which is her true back?

Apparently you've never heard of the term "body double." They certainly used one when they showed T'Pol's butt crack.

I do not think they used a body double on the photo I attached. It was a candid shot I believe. So the shot in Diamond Hunters could have been a body double?

Let me put it to you this way: If you don't see the person's face in the shot, or if it's just a closeup shot of boobs and such, nine times out of ten it's a body double. I haven't seen this movie you're talking about, so I don't know if you see Jolene's face along with her body. And I've never seen the above picture anywhere but in your post, so if there's no other pics showing her face, then it might be a double.

Well put!! The idea of what a woman (or even a man) looks like has been force-fed to us by the media. Women like Jolene Blalock hardly exist in real life. In real life, most women don't have rock hard abs, a superflat stomach, perfect breasts and peach skin. And men who are attracted to women like that are usually attracted to an image, an idea, a concept.

I remember the lapdance scene from Death Proof. The actress (forgot her name) has a little belly in a cute way, slightly puffy cheeks, thicker thighs and an actuall butt instead of a butt that looks like a ten year old boy. These are things normal women have. And even then, in Death Proof, it's still brought as a picture of a perfect woman, only now trough the eyes of someone else who prefers his women to look more like that.

And that is what it comes down to. Personal preferences. What do YOU (not the person I'm quoting here, just you in general) find attractive in a woman or a man. Personally, I don't like the Jolene Blalock type, but each to his own.

I prefer to look at the world the way it is, rather than engage in sentimentality about women still being attractive all their lives.


It's sad, but age takes its toll. None of us will look as good in our forties and fifties than we will in our late teens or early twenties.(barring exceptions like being an extremely obese eighteen-year-old who loses lots of weight/hits the gym in their early thirties)

I'm not shallow, I'm not saying I want to date women solely because of their looks, but if this is a thread about appearance, you can't seriously argue that McFadden looks as good in "Nemesis" as she does in "farpoint."

That being said, as far as I'm concerned, the real beauty on ENT has always been Linda Park.

Haven't seen any recent pictures of her so I can only go by the pictures (moving and still) I have seen and to me, Jolene is quite gorgeous -- beautiful eyes, mouth, and body, particularly her legs. There aren't a better pair of legs on any other regular female actor in any of the the T.V. shows or in any of the movies (with the possible exception of Persis Khambatta).
