It's out of control. I can run my fingers through it and make it stand up. I am going to treat it like a relief sculpture and remove bits and pieces until I am satisfied with it.

I always cut my beard very short. Itches like hell if I don't.

My beards tend to be the same way. Short? They itch like crazy and I'm ten times more likely to shave it off to save myself the trouble. But if it gets long enough it ceases to bother me so long as I don't get food particles and crumbs in it.
