Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

The gunplay feels a little off at times though been restricted to what weapons I could of used so far. The aiming can still be a little fidgety and I think its not as smooth as UC2 with aiming.
I agree. I've only played the first 4 chapters, but the gun play seems a lot more difficult than it was before. The aiming is a lot more clumsy...or maybe I'm just out of practice. Time will tell.

So far I feel UC2 is the better game (just) but its still a very good game and I hear its amazing in the 2nd half of the story.

"Greatness from small beginnings." :p

This game has started out pretty slow, but I have a feeling that means things are just going to get more and more epic. If the first two games have taught me anything, it's that this story will take me places I'd never expect.

On chapter 10 now and gunplay a little easier now with more selection of weapons but its still the biggest area of improvement Uncharted needs to focus on. Combat also in terms of taking on multiply enemies could be better still I would like a disarm feature. I hated the reverse camera run away stuff its basically running backwards in real life, makes no sense.

However still some real epic stuff happening now especially in France ;) I got a big Mummy vibe from
The killer bugs
The puzzles are either very easy or a real bitch too ;) but eventually you get past em though the game gives you big hints if you choose them (I did once in Syria).

One thing that annoys me from the writing department
They basically reset the Elena/Drake relationship WTF is the point really it.

The hand-to-hand combat is just trying too hard to mimmick that from Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, but it's just not pulling it off as well.

Played co-op Arena and while it was fun WTF no basic survival mode in the game but a mix of 3 game types in one

Also despite being in a party with another friend for the 3 team versus mode we not only weren't in the same team but not even in the same fucking game

I want UC2 survival mode back :scream:

A co-worker sent me a blurb today about this, it's actually making the news on game sites. Apparently it's a widespread problem with a lot of people complaining about it.

It's not that bad, but it definitely seems to have gotten worse from the last game, which just seems weird to me.

Yeah, from what I've heard, it's something to do with the recoil.

The video I saw showed issues with the aiming relative to the movement of the sticks. It was like there were deadzones and the cursor would only move in "square-like" movements.

I got the game yesterday, and was loving it... until about an hour in when I finally got to shoot people. It was really frustrating just trying to aim. It's so cludgy. I messed with the sensitivity settings over and over again trying to get something that felt right. I've played UC2, as well as several other shooters, and this felt the worst. I was wondering if I just suddenly started sucking at shooters or what. Finally I went online and saw I wasn't the only one with the issue. What you're doing with the joystiqs doesn't match what your reticle does on screen.

The whole "smooth immersion" feeling that UC2 gave me just came crashing down. Going to give it another chance tonight, I really hope something is done about it.

For what it's worth, it does seem to improve as the game goes on. It would be nice if there was a patch or something that could be installed to fix the problem, though.

I was wondering if it was just that I wasn't used to playing it, since it's been a while since I threw the last game in... Weird.

Reached chapter 20 today and while the game is much better now, its very clear UC2 is the superior game of the franchise. I guess the game has loss some of the wow factor + its really annoying after 3 games the amount of stuff that just so happens to break when Drake is on it.

I think Naughtydog needs to widen the scope when it comes to gameplay & level design in Uncharted 4.

 Yeah, he has the worst luck with that.

I agree. I just beat this game, and I was a little underwhelmed by the ending. The game was great, but Uncharted 2 was definitely better.

The ending just kind of showed up. Aside from a little knife fight and some running, there wasn't really a big final boss or anything. Marlowe gets swallowed by quicksand, and that's it? They built up a big mystery surrounding her and never really explained anything. I was hoping for a bigger payoff dealing with the conversation she and Drake (not his real name?) had earlier in the game.

I also would have liked to see a reunion with Chloe and Cutter. She took him to the hospital after he broke his leg and were never heard from again.
