Obligatory lens flare joke!
You forgot to say generic!
Obligatory lens flare joke!
It amazes me how pessimistic ST fans are, even with so little provocation...sure it's been delayed but I never had a doubt it wouldn't be made. On some sites, it seemed as if 80% of fans thought it was cancelled! Just think of it, most production design is probably now done, locations have been found, and it'll start shooting in 2 months..
How about
"Star Trek: It sure took us long enough?"
I mean, this was just ridiculous. A three and a half-year at minimum gap after a hugely successful start to a re-booted franchise is just ridiculous. It'll more likely be four.
Pathetic
Trek 09's success pales to insignificance compared to Avatar and there are no firm plans to start a sequel to that. I think the wait is all part of the show.

er, "Avatar" isn't a part of a franchise that has been around for over forty years, and I don't think it was released with sequels in mind so I don't get the comparison.
We'll be able to see ST (lens flare) EK in the opening credits and that'll be about it. The rest of the film will be 99.9994% lens flare.I wonder how much lens flare THIS film will have. J.J. will have to work extra hard to top himself.

My, that horse is awfully high. Is it safe up there? It's this "everything that can go wrong, will go wrong" mentality that I love so much.
I prefer a "stuff will work out fine, you'll see, just chill" kind of mindset, myself.
Hearsay from a year ago is hardly 'firm' news.and there are no firm plans to start a sequel to that.

It's really too late to complain now. It's not changing anything. It begins filming in January. Everyone is aware the first film came out two and a half years ago. No big deal.
Are you sure you clicked the right button? Raytas is one of the more relaxed people around here and not much given to getting up on high horses. I'm just not seeing anything especially high-horsey about the post you've quoted. My, that horse is awfully high.
