I am, but not at that Greg Land (or Greg Land-style) version. Applying a few filters to photographs does not make comic book art.
Here's what I'm looking at:
Fury is white in the original Marvel Universe and black in the Ultimate Universe, bar one or two anomalous appearances early on where it was the MU Fury. (Originally I think they were going to make Ultimate Captain America black.)
In an early issue of The Ultimates there's a scene where most of the characters discuss who would play them in a movie, and Fury (who already looks exactly like SLJ) says that in his case it's not even open for discussion; Samuel L Jackson is the only choice. Mark Millar isn't exactly the most anti-commercial writer you could imagine.
of course it maybe a symptom of a movie that isnt going to match the source material, but its not a problem all by itself.

that feels like something that could form as and when its needed, or possibly grow our of a small department of the current S.H.I.E.L.D.
you may be right. but i still love her. Though I wish she'd succeeded in the mission rather than failed.
There isn't really a debate, just one out-of-touch person complaining about something trivial.
