What's the deal, here? When I switch to the CW channel to watch Supernatural, all I get is a blank screen.
Oh no. That sounds like a problem with the signal in your area. It's the CW that's having the problem, not your set. I'm so sorry, dude. It's the sorry ass network.
Oh, my God! So no one else is seeing tonight's episode of Supernatural? WTF! First Fringe, now this.
Unbelievable, man.

Seriously, though, a hilarious episode from beginning to end before the reveal. That's SPN's trademark--schizophrenic whiplashing between absurdly funny comedy and the open a vein angst. Sort of a parody of Pulp Fiction and other....stuff, Joe Washington--in that wonderfully warped way that only Supernatural can deliver. You have to watch.

I knew it! I knew Sam was going to find out the truth about what Dean did this episode. I'm happy it didn't drag on any further than this episode. I can't wait to see how this affects Sam and Dean's relationship. Did Sam get to confront Dean about it this episode?
It appears they've set the stage for Crowley to start working with the Winchesters again. There are two constants for Crowley, his desire for power and his sense of self preservation. Knowing how the head Leviathan thinks of his kind, his only choice now is to work with the Winchesters to be rid of them.
And the poor sheriff. When any woman gets close to Bobby or the boys it means trouble is coming her way. I can just see that poor lady being eaten and cloned sometime in the future.

God, I hate episodes like this.
Rant: This episode begged, begged to be treated as legitimate drama. Some very, very serious issues. Having duplicates going on a killing spree with your faces, letting the world know you aren't dead. Letting friends think you are psychotic mass murders.
This should be extremely serious drama.
And it isn't. We get for the most part a comedy episode. And too make it worse (for me giving a legitimate review) I enjoyed the most of the comedy. I hate that I enjoyed most of the comedy. Dean and Air Supply (I seriously could not stop laughing).
But it shouldn't have ever, ever been a comedy. The actions are way, way, way to serious and personal to the characters.
This episode so easily could have been A level drama.
Instead its B grade comedy (Like I said I enjoyed the comedy), but God it really should have been so much more.
I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed by an episode that I thought was good at what type of story it was telling.

Not really bothered here, since these creatures are supernatural beings with abilities beyond merely changing shape.
If we can take Angels, Demons being able to reorder how they appear, I have no real issue with this level of character doing it.
Now the original shape shifters on the show (which did have to change clothing) I would be much more annoyed with as they were much more grounded monsters.
I can't agree, mswood. I respect our differences, but I love the schizophrenic nature of SPN--that something so ghastly and angsty could also be funny. Perhaps it's because I've gone psycho myself trying to pay bills in this economy. Who knows?
Well I don't mind something that mixes it really well, like Mystery Spot. WHere we go from laugh out loud, to deeply, deeply disturbing dark character drama. In fact I love that episode (just wish it wouldn't have been rushed due to the strike, because I think it could have been even better).
But I never felt like the characters (ie Sam and Dean) treated the situations they were in legitimately. I can understand a glib comment here, a smart ass funny comment there. But not once did I feel like the guys were treating this seriously, not once. Thats not drama. The only real drama I found in the episode was Crowley and the Leviathan and Sam and Dean's conversation at the end.
Mystery Spot for all its wacky humor still felt real, because Sam's character made you treat it real.
