ok, so i just finished watching ep 11 where the separatists are testing out a weapon that destroys organic material. anyone else hate it how the separatists lose in every single fight? it's just a massacre every time the droids fight the jedi. why can't we see some new droids that can actually put a sense of fear into the jedi?

What about Magnaguards?

They are droids alright.

Yeah me neither. It was cool seeing R2 and 3PO again of course, but there was hardly any story to it.

They get sucked down into a hole, talk to some trees, solve a simple riddle from a frog lady, and then close the hole again.

yah the magnaguards are the right idea, but they went down against even ahsoka? i dunno, i suppose them and the droidekas are formidable. i just want to see the magnaguards beat up a real jedi 1 on 1. something like how we saw in episode 1.

sorry i meant the droidekas. i loved the way they rolled in and scared the jedi and forced them to back off. i was looking for more of that in the clone wars. it seems the droids just get smashed every single ep.

btw does anyone know how the trade federation can be a part of the republic when they're a part of the separatists?

i'm still loving the scenes with the battle droids. does anyone know of episodes where we see something special from the droids? such as one getting knocked down and then standing up again? something like how the T-800 in terminator keeps going when it's badly damaged?

anyone know of a scene where this occurs? i haven't found any where we see the picture from a battle droid.

I don't think that there are any. There have of course been POV's from the clone troopers.

I remember hearing somewhat extended interchangings between droids in control rooms, or one on the bridge of a cruiser discussing which droid was in charge IIRC. Nothing deep, mind you.

I can see why some fans would be pissed about this news with Maul, but I don't mind it. I always thought Lucas screwed up when he gave us more Jar Jar Binks than Maul in TPM. Maul was such a striking visual, he had a lot of potential that was largely unexplored. I just hope the explanation behind his resurrection isn't too dumb. And if they kill him off again, I hope he at least gets more development than he had in TPM.

I can't remember if we speculated that bringing Savage Opress into the series last season would eventually lead to Darth Maul returning. Interesting to see how they'll use him.
