Just wait until you have a little girl and have to have a tea party with her.
Nothing to be ashamed of. We all have to let out our inner child once in a while. Although, she doesnt need to know you laced your tea with scotch... ;)

Right... Enough of the cuteage you lot. Cute kittens out. Tough bastards in.

My latest baby, a Toughbook CF-29 MK4.

We went pumpkin picking this past weekend, we usually do apple picking as well. However the hurricane destroyed their apple crop for this year, so none to be had.

In my fiancee's never ending quest to remove all traces of my masculinity from me...we went apple picking this weekend:

I had some apples with my father-in-law-to-be.

Then I had some apples by myself.

They were good.

And then we had pie. The end....

...of my manhood.

Why does one need a book to be so tough?

Because otherwise you cant watch porn in the shower... Bugger! Did I say that aloud?

In all seriousness, you need some pretty tough hardware in the automotive industry. It took two years of beatings, various automotive fluids and a Volvo lorry to render my old one unusable. And it still boots to bios, guessing the harddrive copped it. But when you repair something longer than you use it, i think it retirement time, don't you?

At least you know when and where it happened. Many aren't so lucky.

Nothing wrong with that. When she wants to paint your toenails, however.....

Back in July my cousin from Lebanon visited us in Los Angeles, coinciding with a visit from my mom, my brother and sister. A pseudo-family-reunion of sorts of course took place while everyone was here, and naturally I took some pictures.

I may have already shared this picture, but it's a great one. The day this was taken was the first time we'd seen each other in person in maybe 25 years!

Naturally, we made sure to have all the good stuff on hand for such an occasion...

Not sure if you can tell -- I like watermelon.

Lastly, I took my brother and sister to the Americana (a local outdoor mall) and we made a pit-stop at the Barnes & Noble there. That damn Angry Bird was $65!

I think I went to that same orchard last year. I picked apples in a very manly fashion. Nothing says manly like grabbing the top apples out of the tree that others can't reach.

And then giggling like a schoolgirl.

Lewis Orchard? About 20 minutes north of Gaithersburg.

I'm not sure he's completely lost it...I don't see any mention of him actually making the pie. :p

I leave the room for 10 minutes....

"What? I didn't do it. he did it. He's the dog. Blame him. I'm completely innocent..."

^ What really cracks me up is when you catch a cat "in the act." The look on their face is often like a human's, that surprised look of having been caught.

Looks like that cat needs some perplexing toys, ones that challenge curiosity. ;)

He's quite a thief. Biggest kleptomaniac feline I've ever had. The best was the day I saw him running across the apartment with this pale, oddly shaped ball that did NOT look familiar. When I caught up to him I found he'd taken a potato from a bag in the kitchen so he could play with it. He takes kibble from the dog's bowl to play with. Steals pens and lip balm, and hides them behind one of my clothes dressers. A couple weeks ago he started making sneak attacks on the dining table where he'd snatch a napkin from the holder and run away with it. He pretty much ignores the actual toys in the house.
