Having spent most of my life in California, my English is naturally unaccented. However I do like that old-timey American South way of talking. Mercy!

I used to love southern accented ladies, when I lived in NC. Now that I'm back in the midwest, not so much.

Actually i would too. I hate the NY, Boston AND RI accent. And a british accent is a knicker dropper for me.

Yeah. I don't know why, but a British accent to me screams "stuffy librarian", not "sexy lady".

Yup. All the time. Kinda tough to feel up to it after being shot down for years, watching everyone ~else~ hook-up, have kids, move in together, etc. and then the few times you feel especially energetic, someone pisses on any attempt just to flirt with them (ie: a nice looking lady/woman at the bus-stop,) with a "who or what the f*** are you talking-to / looking at" grimace in your direction.

I spent 5 years in a loveless and very nearly sexless marriage (about once per year) in my mid-late 20's. I was overweight and depressed for much of that time. I didn't lose my sex drive, but sex did start to seem like a fantasy that only happened to other people. But after the wife and I split up, I got in shape and discovered that I wasn't a repulsive troll after all.

35 seems too young to lose all interest in sex. I concur with the above posters who recommended exercise. Losing the weight did wonders for my self esteem, confidence, and overall state of mind.

I agree. I still find girls to be attractive but since I am not involved I feel like it's less important than it use to be. MAybe it's because I feel more happy than I use to be. Getting fired was actually a blassing for me because I think my job lent to some of the mental problems had. No days off and working at nights got to me after doing it for 13 years.
