I'm not sure if this should be considered a form of art or not, but I stumbled on these pictures recently. :D

So is this now a cheeseburger animal thread or well where would one put said thread...make it so ,, it is so just where is it so.

/eats said cheeseburger while looking for an appropriate picture - preferably of a cat useing a Type II Phaser on a certain website

loves this, as I'm a cat-person. (insert obligatory anatomy-based joke in the next few posts.) but I doubt a cat would *learn* to knock models off shelves as they keep these nefarious things in mind just to get attention (or revenge) for having a new pet in the house, or for swapping out their favorite brand of food, or any number or hair-brained reasons. or simply because your model was in the way of their exploring and need to find a better perch with a superior view.

...or they suddenly feal threatened by the large plastic Galaxy mockup and must push it off the shelf so it falls and the stardrive section snaps off while Eustace proceeds to shapen claws upon the saucer section before (apparently) eating off some of the decals.

I can only assume that Worf mustve scared Eustace :(

Repeating what I posted upon the StarShip Modelers' forum...

Lt. M'Ress: "Legend says that the Caitian goddess, the Merciful Mogg, could manifest herself upon the corporeal plane in a form so huge that she dwarfed ships of the line like the Enterprise. With a single swipe of her massive, clawed paws, she could rend the hull from a vessel as though it were made of fabric! She could seize the dome of a Bussard Collector within her mighty fanged jaws and crack it like an egg. So great was her strength, she could..."

Kirk: "...cough up hairballs with the destructive force of photon torpedoes?"

Lt. M'Ress: "Yes! How did you kn... Hey! You're mocking me, aren't you?!"

The secondary hull and warp nacelles on that Enterprise are totally out of proportion, the saucer isn’t right, and the pylons are too short and thick . . . :)

I'm sure that to make it structurally sound, and to serve its purpose as a cat scratcher, some compromises had to be made. But then I get the feeling you knew that anyway. :p ;)

ah,that would be a yes.
But heres another thought: maybe that the way those ships Should have looked to sustain against warp stress.

I can imagine it.

The Enterprise leaps into warp, hundreds of cats materialize out of the subspace foam, made real into our 3-d space by the exotic energies of warp travel. As they begin to tear at the hull, Worf hides under a console.
