OT: But unavoidable. Two things changed my view of Pokemon forever. The "Pokethulu" rpg--cute fuzzy Mythos monsters--inspired it was!
And...at a convention in Columbus, OH (either Marcon or Origins, or possibly both) there was a very gorgeous young lady wearing a canary yellow velvetish Pikachu costume.
"Pikachu, I choose YOU!" never had quite the same meaning to me again after that. heh.

My son knows more about pokemen,,, Then I would ever know about pokemon,.,,..
even though he is 19 years of age,... he still loves Pokémon,,,,,
