That's okay, when Doctor Who did a 1930s period location shoot in New York they shot the Statue Of Liberty complete with the gilt, spotlit "flame" that was installed in the 1980s to replace the paned glass one...

It's going to seem kinda strange not going back downtown to see what new stuff they've put together. I think last night was the final filming on Public Square, and yesterday afternoon they were shooting a scene on the Detroit-Superior bridge.

yeah, but that was because they shot 2nd unit stuff in New York now, not because they were pretending Vancouver was London or LA was Vienna or some crazy ass stuff like US shows do.

Apparently, they blew up a bunch of stuff south of the city in Parma, but I haven't been able to find any pix or video clips from that yet, or to find out where they're shooting the 'Russian stronghold'.

This thread has become rather spoilery but that is to be expected when posting every single set photo available lol. That looks fucking epic. I think we should probably expect a full trailer either this winter or next spring by the latest. I was kind of pleasantly surprised that we got the teaser trailer.
