^Hey man, NERDRAGE is what powers the internet!
Arguing that fans somehow have the 'right' (as defined by the constituional ammendment concerning free speech) to whine, piss, and moan about George Lucas not giving them what they want (as if he somehow owes them anything) is, IMO, like arguing that toddlers shouldn't be punished by their parents for throwing tantrums because they're 'free speech'. It's a ludicrous notion.
Dude, you're taking this "rights" thing WAY too literally. This isn't a court of law here. It's a freakin scifi forum.
Well there is always the idea of preserving film history. If somebody wants to know what it was like to see the movie that changed the way movies are made and marketed, they really need to see the original theatrical version that did it.What's the harm in fixing errors/production flubs?
I totally agree whats wrong with fixing the fubar's in the movie.

Nerdrage is like a back-up battery.
PORN powers the internet.
And porn is far more entertaining than nerdrage can ever hope to be.![]()
It amuses me how angry people can get over a couple of movies.
The nerd rages are just fun. The best complaints, IMO, are the ones made out of plain stupidity. It amuses me how angry people can get over a couple of movies.
Is Lucas going and destroying everyone's pre-existing copies of the OT again? Man, I hate that guy.
