Add to that whether Lincoln was a fan of blacks or not is irrelevant. The South was still horrible for its treatment and use of slaves.
The information on Lincoln is true regardless of his opinions on the holocaust, which I do not deny...the northern states were hardly a bastion of support for blacks themselves...
But the North was still better than the South in regards to its treatment of black people. Still is today although the Midwest is now the capital or racism in America. I can't believe anyone would try to defend the South's actions in regards to black people. "They were bad, too" in regards to the North is a childish and useless reply.

I worked at a lemonade stand last weekend. The little monster never gave me a lunch break, so I had to call the labor department on her.
