I'm eliminating To the Death. This episode kind of angered me because we see a pylon completely destroyed in this episode and then the next episode it was completely fine with no scratch. It kind of makes the whole complaint about Voyager being reset each episode not valid.

I'll take out Paradise Lost. I don't like how they chose to resolve this conflict because they didn't let Sisko stew long enough in the moral conundrum.

Indiscretion, which really should have gone before To the Death and before Return to Grace, which dealt with Dukat and his relationship with Kira in a much better way than Indiscretion. Indiscretion tries to 'humanize' Dukat, but in the process it fails to adequately deal with the darker aspects of Dukat's personality and past.

Bye to Indiscretion. Pretty solid, but not at the level of the remaining four. I'm glad I don't have to make any more decisions in this thread now.

Making a hard decision, I remove Homefront. It was a decent two-parter, but not up to other mid-season two-parters, and considering WOTW is too epic, and the other two, too emotional to remove, it's the natural choice.

Another very difficult decision, but The Way of the Warrior isn't quite of the same calibre as the remaining episodes.

Didn't care much for O'Brien puttin' a phaser to his jaw.

And that makes 'The Visitor' the winner...and didn't we all kind of suspect that's how it would turn out?

Its one of the few DS9 episodes I've only watched once & decided that was enough.

Wow...and I thought I was the only one who is not crazy for Hard Time. That episode used to be hugely popular in this forum, back in the day.

Anyway, glad The Visitor won. IMO the best of this season, easily.

But... but Klingons...

It's a great episode, but the climatic battle always brings it down for me. I mean, hundreds of battle-hardened Klingon warriors beam aboard, and the Ops crew brush them off like they're nothing? It's really hard to take that seriously.
