The teaser trailer and poster for The Dark Knight Rises will be available soon! The trailer, which will be about a minute and 33 seconds long, will debut with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, which opens July 15th. The trailer should be online shortly after that, along with the poster.

This is exciting news indeed.
No idea if we'll be getting footage from the trailer or not. I believe the teaser for "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" showed actual footage so I don't see why Nolan would change things for "The Dark Knight Rises". I'm excited to see the teaser poster as well.

Footage for Begins, audio for Dark Knight. I'd forgotten the Dark Knight teaser trailer just had the audio.
I can't wait to see what color scheme they go with. Batman Begins was copper-ish and The Dark Knight was blue/cyan. What will The Dark Knight Rises use?

The logo sheet at the Licensing Expo had a purple hue. So I'm guessing it will be blue-ish purple.
To be fair that was just the promo logo. We'll have to wait and see what the actual color scheme is...I wouldn't be surprised though if it was purple and blue. To think we'll find out in just a few days is exciting.

It seems like with alot of the these big trailers, they'll either release them a day or two before it debuts in theaters, or they'll wait and do it sometime during the week after it's debut weekend.
It's not like it was mentioned six posts above you or anything, dude.
I've read that there are some people who are planning to watch the trailer and ditch the theater right afterwards
^ That reminds me of "Wing Commander" when it had "The Phantom Menace" trailer attached. Personally I don't understand that mentality. Seems like a waste of money, especially in the age of the internet.
