Okay Trek fans, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations before you eliminate another one. Not a very accurate way of determining the best episode, but a fun game nonetheless. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

Season 4 is to me one of the strongest seasons, but I feel "The Loss" detracts from it. Basically nothing happens while the Enterprise slowly drifts toward [technobabble]. Oh yeah, and Troi is bitchy all episode because she is as limited as everyone else. Which she demands is treated as a handicap. There would have been a great oppourtunity for LaForge to put her in her place, but it doesn't happen.

I'm removing Qpid. It looks like that actors had fun making it, but it's a comic episode that is not all that funny.

Reason: I've been hearing about how scary this episode is, so I was sucked into watching it only to be disappointed because it wasn't scary enough for me. "Phantasms" and "Genesis" were scarrier. I was about to remove "In Therory" but "In Theory" was more interesting. I just wished they came up with a better plot about the holes and stuff

Getting rid of "The Host" - I just find the Crusher love story to be rather adolescent in its presentation (with Crusher and Odan making out at every opportunity - barf). Additionally, Crusher's reaction to the final (female) host of Odan is perhaps understandable, but still remarkably non-progressive in its message (at least for TNG).

I'm kicking out Clues.

Not enough depended on finding the solution. And why the hell didn't Data just say everyone was out for longer? IIRC, the only tip off was that Data was saying it was 30 seconds when it was really 24 hours. If he'd said they were out for 24 hours, any investigation would match up and there wouldn't have been a problem.

I think the removal of "Remember Me" and calling it "Forgettable" was the most surprising thing. That's really the first time I've seen that word used to describe this episode.

Agreed with those who question the early elimination of First Contact. An excellent episode. Oh well... I'll kick out Galaxy's Child as a companion piece to my Season 3 elimination of Booby Trap. Either I don't get Geordi's fascination with Leah Brahms, or I don't like Geordi episodes all that much or it was just a technobabble-y bore... take your pick.
