Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost self.

iBender

Fleet Captain
Fleet Captain
Fictional characters that you tend to think like through no fault of your own that you watched growing up.

I'm me,what you see is what you get, and put me in a sittutation, I'll be me, in that sittuation. I don't try to be like anybody because:
I just don't see the point.
I have been compared to people, so that's cool, I guess.

Sometimes I feel like Buffy, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer... Don't know why, just do.
It's when I'm visiting someone in hospital, could do with out it too.

Generally, I feel like (when I'm not feeling like Buffy is) Eric, from Boy Meets World, I guess I'm like cross between Eric Mathews and Pepper Ann from 'Disney's Pepper Ann' if anything... Also Tia & Tamera from Sister, Sister, and Marty Depolo from Teen Angel too. :)

I have been known to have my 'Captain of a Star Ship' frame of mind too. Peace with understanding and no compromise my own vaules. :D

I can feel like this that and the other really and have been compared to a few, but what ever, I am me. :)
Who do you find yourself feeling like from televison?

I wish I felt like Kim Possible, but alas, Pepper Ann/Eric Mathews it is.

I even feel like Daphne from Fraiser... When watching Fraiser... I blame being British for that one.

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

I'd have to go with Buffy too, or at least people have told me I talk like her.

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

Doctor Who (various incarnations). Don't know when it first started--perhaps when I was very little--but I periodically find myself behaving "Doctorish" from time to time and can even notice which particular Doctor I'm channeling at times...

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

I always felt a bit more sarcastic after watching an episode of House.

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

My wife hates it when I watch Cheap Seats or MST3K because I tend to make sarcastic comments about things afterward.

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

From time to time, I get a Mal Reynolds-like drawl when I speak.

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

Like iBender I tend to be me almost all the time. Being someone else gets quite exhausting after a while. The biggest influences on the way to becoming me were propably (in no parrticular order) :

Worf (trust in yourself),
Robinson Crusoe (one is never too old to learn),
Dr Doolittle (once you got to know humans, you'll inevitably love animals),
Obi Wan Kenobi (in a fight brains are more important than physical strength),
the Nac MacFeegles (Crivens! Boldness will always win)
and Winnie the Pooh (enjoy every second of your life. Preferably with a good friend).

I'm a cross between Spock and Princess Leia.

That scares even me. :rommie:

It may sound weird but I am gonna go with Jack Bauer. I have always had a self confidence problem and quick to crack under pressure. I always admired how Jack was neither of those. So I made a point to "act like Jack" and I have stood up for myself a lot more and I think I am cooler under pressure.

When I want to be, I can act like Bender, from Futurama. *Cackles

Passes Flying Spaghetti Monster the cheese & crackers and iBender a bottle of Budweiser (btw, Budweis is only about 2 hours by car from my place. If you are in the mood to visit me one day I'll take you there and you can try the real thing.)

Even worse for him, I have an overwhelming compulsion to quote him the odds, to twelve decimal places.

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

I behave more like Jack Shephard than I care to admit.

Re: Characters, that have left their traits in your psyche/innermost s

Hawkeye Pierce. Wrong is wrong and right is right, and you have to stand your ground....but that doesn't mean you can't have a few laughs and a whole lot of fun while doing it.

Although, now that I'm middle aged, whenever I'm in a group of women, I feel like I turn into Dorothy Zbornak from Golden Girls.

Haw! Spock was doing that when Data was a mere collection of circuits!
