Vash on Crestor??

So I was watching TV the other night and I saw an add for the cholesterol drug Crestor. And the pitch person was Vash! So I instantly had one of those moments in which i felt verrrrry old. I remember when I was a wee teenager watching TNG in its first run and finding her really hot. Don't get me wrong she still looks great. But she had grand kids in the add. IDK I just found it funny.

There's another pharmaceutical ad that I see nearly every day for an osteoporosis drug. It stars a woman who was in a 1st season episode, When the Bough Breaks, I think. She plays a grandmother in the ad, too.

Vash is about my age (51). She's playing someone a lot older in that ad or so I'd like to think (ha, ha!). A couple of years ago she was playing a college professor with arthritis in some pain reliever ad! I think she looks better now than when she was on TNG.

I didn't get married until I was almost 35 and my kids are only 10 and 12, so it sometimes boggles my mind that had I married right out of college, I could have been a grandparent by now. Wow.

Interesting. Googled her, and she also has the primarily voice, but occasional screen part of Mary Alice on Desperate Housewives. My wife and daughter are big fans, so I know just enough to be dangerous. I think she almost looks better now.
