"A Good Man Goes To War" Prequel & Trailer

^ That would be awesome. I'm wondering if we will get characters mentioned instead of seeing them. Interesting that the Doctor noted in "The Curse of the Black Spot" about "parallel dimensions". I doubt that means anything though.

according to this interview with Simon Fisher-Becker (the big blue guy) "a lot of questions will be answered, but then a whole bucket load of new questions will come forward" in this episode.

Also,
He'll be back for episode 13, and apparently Mark Gatiss will also appear in episode 13. and "Again, lots of answers - everything will be answered in Episode 13, but then something else will be asked, so you’ve got the cliffhanger to the new series."

I saw another preview clip on the BBC site.

All I can say is FIRE MOFFAT since I've read spoilers which I hoped were fake.

The Doctor is supposed to be calling on old debts...it will be curious to see from whom though.

Judging from the pics and clips,
Cybermen, Sontarans, Silurians, a steampunk babe with a katana called Jenny who may or may not be the same Jenny from TDD, and possibly the Judoon
the official site was updated recently, and the homepage has the following spoken words:

demons run when a good man goes to war
night will fall and drown the sun when a good man goes to war
friendship dies and true love lies
night will fall and dark will raise when a good man goes to war
Interesting. And it should be noted that "Demon's Run" was the original title for "A Good Man Goes to War" (a title change that I agree with as oppose to Gaimain's episode).

One thing I am curious about regarding this ep is what River meant when she says that the Doctor will rise higher than he's ever been but will fall even harder. Is Eleven going to have his apotheosis moment like Ten had?

In the trailer, who's the guy running, wearing the trenchcoat? (about 8 seconds in).

I was hoping Jack, but it really doesn't look like him.

Man I'm glad theres only one more day to make it through. Avoiding spoilers is becoming unbearable.

He 'falls farther' than when he burned up his home planet? This I gotta see.

And Amy and Rory are apparently still alive next story, so its not that.

"My friend, you have never risen higher" is the direct quote from the trailer. The other line is uttered by the soldier who says "On this day, in this place, The Doctor will fall"

Well, it was actually a quote from a clip. But I did get it slightly wrong, so I revised my previous post. The rest of it still stands though.

But I guess its time to rub my Tardis key and start my 'Please don't suck' mantra.

Exactly! But who is it? Looks like someone in their longjohns & a trenchcoat.
I assumed it was Rory, caught between costume changes from regular clothes to Roman gear.
