I sympathize. I knew I was old when I received $50 for my birthday and my first thought was "I can pay the cable bill with this!". I was 23.

I'm 26.... I don't really feel "old" yet because I still have minimal responsibilities beyond my work. I do have to say seeing my "little cousins" as college freshman w/ boyfriends is a bit freaky for me-- and I was surprised when one of my cousins called N64 a "classic system."

Yeah, it sucks. It seems that in some places, no matter where you cut spending, other bills inflate to take over that "saved" money. Our electric bill has ballooned, even as I've reduced energy usage throughout the year.

My new job has been making me feel a lot older than I had been before. I am dealing with people significantly older than me who have absolutely no idea how to live their lives. I work in a technical school, and we have a lot of middle-aged students who have gone back to school to get some career training. Today, one of our teachers had to confiscate the cell phones of three 45-year old women because they spent the entire class texting.

That the clothes and hairstyles in "That 70's Show", were what you and your friends were wearing during high school - (1973-1978). And the Mum's orange Datsun 200B car? My first car was a (then 4yo) Datsun 180B 1977 model, the same colour! And my aunts' houses were all decorated like the Forman residence.
