So, no more barriers to (SPOILERS)

A female Doctor would be death to the ratings. There's nothing so conservative with a small 'c' as the British television watching public. Points of View would be inundated with letters from Mr Angry from Purley, Sir Tufton Bufton and Lord Harrumph.

I don't think any of them watch Doctor Who. They're all lying in a darkened room, calling for their nurses after Don't Scare The Hare.
I caught the end of an episode. I now have a tic on my left eyelid and a tendency to wake up with a startled cry of "CARROTS! BASTARD!" if the nightmares have been mechanically leporine in form.

Well, since there's only 2 Regenerations left, and we don't know what exactly the Valleyard thing means (in between regenerations 11 and 12), we're already up against the wall, so, I think we can already assume something will be done, wether it be the 502 regenerations spoken of in Sarah Jane or if they simply find some way to legitimately give him more.

While I think they'll give him more (since no one wants to be the producer who kills off Doctor Who forever), keep in mind that could be quite a long ways away depending on how long Matt Smith keeps going or if they take any more breaks.

Yea, I'll give you that.

I actually, until this last weekend, (when I was putting together a list of Pertwee episodes/stories), thought that Tom Baker was the only Doctor to stay more than 3 Series. I was very surprised to find Pertwee had 5 Series, I've seen alot of them (But, maybe not all?) and I've just started collecting my Pertwee era. Also, I guess Hartnell and Troughton made up 7 series between them (Sharing Hartnell's fourth series, I believe?). Still, even at an average of 3 Series per Actor, we still have 7 years after this one left, it seems a lot longer, when you look at it from that direction
