Sadly, this is the end, this will be the last episode of Stargate Universe. Indeed, it will also be the end of Stargate on TV, the likes that this universe hasn't seen in over a decade. For the first time, the airwaves will be devoid of new Stargate episodes. This is a sad day for Stargate fans everywhere. Let us take a moment and reflect on a great decade+ of Stargate as a whole.

SGU went before its time, way before its time. The part that saddens me the most is that SGU will not get a proper send-off, there will be no wrap up to the storyline. The episode tonight was in the bag when the cancellation notice came down, there was nothing they could do. What we have, is what we have. But we will endure. I'm sure there will spout many a Stargate thread theorizing what could have been in SGU, and where the storyline was taking us. Unfortunately, all that we will have left is fandom. But as fans, we are strong, we are smart, we will carry on the legacy of Stargate in this universe, and beyond.

Let me also thank everyone for allowing me to host our Stargate running commentary and grading threads for so long. First SG-1, then SG-A back-to-back, and then SGU. It has been fun, and I will miss our long winded running commentary of old, it was great fun while it lasted, you all are really great people, and I'm humbled and blessed to have spent this time discussing Stargate with each and every one of you.

Hey Tom! It has been a great ride, hasn't it? In many ways, for me, the Stargate franchise surpassed Star Trek to become THE sci-fi series of television. It's a shame this series will most likely never get a proper resolution. I really wanted to know just what that intelligence in the background radiation was.

That diagram of the command ships around the stargates was a very odd choice by the playback department. It didn't really show anything the way it was constantly moving forward. It sounded like it was written to be more of a map view.

Are we sure of that? It's possible that the plan was for her to regain her sight next season (if there was one, of course).

This scene is another good example of why this show still has life in it - the bantering between Young and the ship's geeks was quite humorous.

I was thinking in terms (again, assuming the show hadn't been cancelled) that they might've come across another outpost of their descendants, with more advanced medical files they could've uploaded.

Sadly, we'll never know.

Bit excessive, don't you think? Only her eyes are ruined, there's no need to throw away a body that's perfectly functional in every other regard.

It all started when Scifi began broadcasting on my tv.

It was 2002. I believe the episode was the replicator/time dilation device.

Scifi then aired the series from 5 to about 8 pm(Stargate Monday's)

That pretty much let me see the whole series from start to finish.
