I thought The Tick's sidekick was a more convincing Moth "super" hero...
...And I can't help but notice how your moth-man's emblem on his chest seems to resemble a plant leaf of the Herbus Maximus variety.
It's a superhero thing.

As an aside, that retro laser gun of his is pretty darn cool.
I think he may be a fan of musical theatre as well, judging by his choice of colours. Superbly drawn.
