X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (Casting, Rumors, Pics till release)

Yes this is Alex Summers and in this movie he's the older brother. In the continuity of the comics Scott is older. They changed it for the film.
 
What are the odds that Daddy Summers is gonna show up? I need me some alien spaceships in my X-Men movies.
 
Anyone else want to see them continue from this movie onto a new series of moives with a re-cast Wolverine, etc.?

The Singer movies were good but look dated now, to me at least, and pale to what superhero movies have become and, dammit, I just need to see a decent Rogue!
 
I just want X-Men movies that allow themselves to go more over-the-top with aliens and giant fire birds and creatures from other dimensions. I hope that Green Lantern will do well and will open the door for more fantasy in my superhero movies.
 
I don't think Fox is in any hurry to reboot the franchise at all. In fact I'd not be surprised if this does well that we get a new trilogy from it. "The Wolverine" is still on track if delayed and rumors continue that X4 is in the works (they're still discussing it).
 
I agree, if the quality of this is as good as it appears AND it's a financial win for FOX I'm all for more prequel films and provided casting/story an X4 sequel film.

If FC is a hit I've no doubt it will spur the now in limbo Wolverine films hunt for a diretor. Although word is Hugh is circling some projects for his expected hiatus, hope that wouldn't conflict with getting Wolverine 2 up and going. Like Depp and Jack Sparrow, Ford and Dr.Jones I'm not quite ready to recast Wolverine, he is Jackman to me at present.
 
^ Yep. We've discussed Alex's age difference earlier in the thread before (I cringed when timothy asked if it was Havok in that pic because this discussion would be brought up again lol).
 
I kinda skimmed through the thread. Mostly looking for pics and links. (Am I failing at the internet? ;) )
 
It just seems like you expect everybody to have read all 122 pages of the thread. When threads are this long, subjects are bound to pop up several times.

And that's okay. You don't need to comment on it every time it happens.
