For better and worse, it's official: I'm going "home" Thursday. In quotes because I'll actually be staying at my FFH's house for a while. (That's Friend and Former Husband, btw.) I'm both excited and terrified...

You'll get there. It's going to be a process, but someday soon you're going to want to go "woop woop!" and maybe shake yer bootie and perhaps even heft an adult beverage. Heck, you might surprise yourself and do all three at one time.

I think it's a good sign that you're going "home," Ziyal, even if it is scary. You're getting better and making progress on the road to self sufficiency. I think that just getting away from a medical environment and into a home environment will be good for your state of mind.
