What does God tell you?

In all seriousness... not all the time. I believe that truly hearing God is a special thing and people who say they hear Him all the time... I think they aren't really hearing Him. What I think they're hearing is their own desire.
I've only heard God a couple of times and I know it's been when it was really important that I heard Him for sure.

You mean like actually hearing? Deep voice, old guy?

But seriously... if I started to hear God's voice, I would probably assume that I was losing my mind
If I started to hear God's voice, I would probably assume that he was losing his mind. ;)

But if I ever start hearing him, I'm pretty sure he would talk with Vittorio Gassman's voice.

1. I don't know, how does God communicate?

2. "Hello Sean"

3. Dunno, depends on what God said. Just saying "Hello Sean" probably wouldn't indicate who it was unless I recognised the voice.

4. I think that would be pretty important, so yeah.

5. If God said to, then yes. Otherwise, it seems like a personal thing between us.

6. Unlikely - not really my business anyway.

7. Things happen all the time that I can't necessarily explain, but I don't need God as an explanation. I'm content not to have all the answers to everything.

(btw, I've never ever done the "this" thing before - and it just felt so good, so right :) )

From time to time I kneel before a just and loving dog. He whines when he wants to go out, but most of the time he just hangs out and smiles.

God is a word masturbation.

God is dog spelled backward.

i. Is the absurd assured the spontaneousness it deserves usually?

-----------------------

1. Is masturbating a dog backward like worshiping?

2. Do dogs have a God that is the backward spelling of say, cat (I know that was tac-kie)

3. When Buddha says the title of one of his enlightenment seminars could this be hearing the voice of enlightenment somehow?

4. Where did my net connection go? and why is the net congested so often?

5. Can you answer these questions "as-if" you were God? somehow?

6. Can there be real things left that have meaning beyond the time and space they take up, or what?

7. If I can learn from my mistakes should I subject the rest of the world into making the same mistake, so they can learn? Maybe?

------------------------

I have special powers that you do not.

What are your special powers? :)

Well besides the normal love powers, I can hear the echoes of people repeating the teachings that Buddha taught, from time to time in my head without anyone around. It is sorta like the memories of my moms voice correcting my English, or my dad saying "what is the sound of one hand clapping?"

It was God who gave me the secret of survival.

He also told me that his real name is Frank.

1. can you hear God?

Literally? No

2. If you could say hear God what might God say?

Take in knowledge and exercise faith, there is hope for the future.

3. Would you believe you are hearing God?

Given my answer in #1, no

4. Would you care that God was talking to you?

When he "speaks" I listen, so yes.

5. Should you write a book about this? or make a web site.. ?

No

6. If someone did do this would you believe them, in that they have direct contact with said "God?"

No, as "no one comes to the father except through me." [said by Jesus]

7. Also has anything strange ever happened that you can not explain except by assuming this "God" had something to do with it?

Yes.

Seconded. That's almost exactly how I would have expressed it.
A miracle is only a miracle if it goes against the laws of nature. But if God exists, then the laws of nature are the will of God. Why would God go against his own will?
That's a sloppy syllogism. A miracle is an act that cannot be explained using the laws of nature. Why does God do miracles? To show that He can.

I wouldn't accuse anyone of doing "sloppy syllogism", and then follow it with an assertion that makes no sense, logically as well as theologically (because all it does is making God sound like a jerk).
