The really odd thing was that Luongo seemed to be fighting an injury. The guys on Versus thought that it was Luongo who finally pulled himself from the game, not Vigneault.I don't understand why when a goalies lets in that many goals you don't pull him, especially when he lets in two on two shots. Alain Vigneault was on something tonight that was a bone head move.
Jim Huighson at CBC said the same thing at the end of the first (I think), when it looked like Luongo as in pain having pulled his back. I was surprised to see him back in the next period.
The Canucks did not look good last night, but that might be better for the team in the long run. What do people her make of the too many men penalty that really sparked the Hawks resurgence? It looked marginal ... actually fictional ... to me, but I'm biased.
