Torchwood: Miracle Day premiere date

The plot sounds a bit odd, if no one died for a year that would mean 50 million more people which out of 7 billion which doesn't quite seem to be an "instant" population crisis.

I wonder if it will end up like that episode of Family Guy when the Reaper takes a break.

It sounds like Jack's gift/curse of immortality has somehow spread to the entire population possible, very interesting plot.

A Starz Original Series

Excuse me How is a 3 season old BBC show a Starz Original Series? The Americans seemingly get 1st run of a UK show, how about they air the same day?

They're making it, it's their show. It doesn't matter that they didn't make the first three seasons, they aren't saying they used to make it. They're saying the new episodes are theirs. Expanding on what Turbo said, when SyFy reruns episodes of Stargate from the first five seasons, they don't have the little "A SyFy Original Series" bumper, but if it's an episode from season six to ten, they do.
