LETS TALK CLASSIC TV

Okay, since I was only thinking about 70s/80s t.v I've watched in the past few weeks (for what reason, I'm not sure) completely forgot about Quantum Leap. It's my favourite t.v show ever. I used to watch it with my mum when it was first on and I've loved it ever since.

I used to watch some of the sitcoms from then as well, but not for years - Cheers, Taxi, MASH. They were all pretty good. IMO, a lot better than most of the sitcoms that have been churned out since about 1998.

why not I know it ran onlu two season's but it was early 80's .

also love SPACEGHOST

God I'm getting old, I saw the thread titled about "classic TV" and I'm thinking shows from the 50's and 60's. :(

Well, I consider MASH, Eight is Enough, and the original Battlestar Galactica classics of my early years. I was in the third grade in 1978 when those three shows were on.

But I'm old enough that I know how you feel.

now on season 3 of cheers . The bad thing in this season was that coach dies in real life .

and the good thing of this season is kelsey grammer is introduced .

Married... with Children

Too bad the quality is so poor. Damned video tape.

The Jeffersons. I don't know why but if it comes on I will watch.

All in the Family, Family, Good Times, Bob Newhart, Mary Tyler Moore, Maude, Mash, Sanford and Son, Chico and the Man, and my personal favorite amongst the cheesy 70s detectives-Cannon. Runner up - Mannix.
And Garner in Rockford, of course, as well as David Jannsen as Harry O.

married with children is in reruns on tbs early in the morning . 3 hours worth .

Yeah. But they compress the shit out of the signal and even on TBS HD they end up looking worse than the DVD sets I have.
