I wish I had skillz with Photoshop. Yankee fan that I am, I'd like to create...

the Steinbrennerero. :techman:

(Or should I call it the Steinbrero?)

This is the actress who, as France Nguyen's understudy, played Suzie Wong alongside William Shatner a few times on stage before being picked for the movie (real photo, not photoshopped).

I've posted on this thread quite a bit in the past, but then some time ago I had web hosting issues. Most of the images I posted here were deleted, I let some domain names lapse, and I never uploaded the images again. But if anyone is still interested, I've restored my Sombreros of the Line web pages at http://www.carperesrei.com/stuff/sombrerosoftheline/
The absence of those pages and images did not go unnoticed, and I think there are at least few people around who will be pleased to note that they've returned (and also that you have not, as some were worrying, dropped completely off the face of the planet.)

I'm still hanging on. I didn't restore all the images I've posted in the past, but rather, a small repository of the best of everyone.

You know, your post made me think about I guy I know who got really drunk one night and couldn't stand up anymore. He was so disoriented that he thought the ground had gone vertical, so he ended up spead eagle on his front lawn with two fists full of grass yelling "I'm falling off the face of the earth!"

Thanks for noticing by the way.

Carpe, M is correct! We HAVE missed you and your pics!!!! I'm so glad you're back and that the pics are up again. Dude, you've just made my day! :bolian:

Thanks everybody. However, just to be clear, I created the web pages, but many of the individual images are from other contributors to this thread. I certainly don't want to take credit for the amazing work of others. Sombreros of the Line was originally meant as a repository for the best of Blue Warp Nacelles, back in those heady days when the sombreros were coming fast and furious and I actually had a sombrerosoftheline.com domain.

Also, there are some hidden links to extra content, easter eggs I guess.

^ Yes, i realized that as i went through the site again. Thank you for making that clear! It is wonderful to have it back up though. Thank you. It made my day!
