Those kids are being shown the True Path at an early age. I heartily applaud this instructor! And they did a great job, too! How cute! What a nice find.

I'm really happy you guys liked the movie thingy! You're all wonderful, generous people.

After Effects and I had a lot of long, angry arguments with each other throughout the course of making that video, and most of them usually ended with After Effects sulking and then crashing to spite me. Anyways, I've always liked the idea of Voyager getting caught up in some kind of cool ancient puzzle or something, sort of like the Halo games. Of course, it wouldn't be Voyager if the Borg didn't crash the party after our crew did all the hard work figuring it out.

, I understand what you're going through with Vegas now. I'll never, ever say "it's not so bad" ever again. I promise.

Y'all. Holy crap. Look what Froot made with her own two hands! You will NOT believe how beautiful this vid is. I can't think of enough nice things to say about it. Oh, and pay special attention to the bit around 1:50. That is so gorgeous, it brings tears to my eyes.

 Haha, I hope I can find a teacher that awesome when it's time for my little Trekkie to take music lessons. Love her enthusiasm.

How we gonna not love it? You pretty much kicked ass as no vidder has ever kicked ass before.

Bless your heart! Poor Froot! Regardless, though, you took that program and MADE IT DO YOUR WILL.

Anyway, maybe I should look into After Effects. My mental block from Vegas might not apply there. Hmmmmm.

Re: Favorite Voyager Videos

Youtube isn't cooperating with me today. :klingon::klingon::klingon:

I think this google acct manure has destabilized the space time continuum, and caused all the vids to fast forward themselves ad nauseum.:scream::evil::scream:

ETA: FINALLY.. froot is not only da bomb! But I want to learn how to play the xylophone!

I'd want to play xylophone, but I'm a little iffy playing an instrument I can't spell! :) And bless you, JR and teacake. :)

Note that it's a bit of a pain to line up lots of clips in After Effects... it's a bit more efficient to line up clips in either Vegas or something like that, IMO. I used AE, Photoshop, and Vegas kind of equally.

After Effects really shines for stuff like animation and text and... well, effects. It's a little tougher to use it for stringing together lots of little clips, although it's definitely possible! But if you're curious, there's an amazing and wondrous site that has all sorts of cool stuff about AE: www.videocopilot.net <- I learned so much from this site! Creativecow is a good site, too.

You can see a lot of their custom plugins and ideas and stuff in all sorts of commercials/movie trailers after watching a few of their tutorials

Re: Favorite Voyager Videos

^ Awesome, Froot, I'll check that site out. May I express my thanks for the tip by offering you a (previously) frozen french fry? ;)

Re: Favorite Voyager Videos

I shall enjoy my (previously) frozen french fry gift with much gusto. :)

By the way, I was thinking about it, and if you want to eat your carrots indoors, I guess I can make an exception. I don't know how it is down there, but it's awful cold and snowy up here. It wouldn't be right.

Re: Favorite Voyager Videos

Aw, that's sweet of you, Froot. You could always move the party down here, ya know. Spring is here in the Southland - Next week, I intend to get out my shorts and purchase a kite.

Re: Favorite Voyager Videos

Y'all! Y'all! Check it out. Somebody uploaded "Mosaic", read by Kate Mulgrew, to YouTube!

Part One
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9BFD0w93vQ

Part Two
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zeWTyJNnRg&feature=related

I think there are only two parts. Two really long parts. Two really long AWESOME parts.

ETA: I just checked out this fine person's channel. Most of it is in German, but if you look on the left, beside the part where he has his subscribers modules, you will see he has a list of other Star Trek audiobooks he has uploaded in English. Only a few, but a few is better than none, which is the number of bootleg YouTube Star Trek audiobooks I knew about previously. ;-)

Unlike the amount of people who have uploaded the episodes of Voyager. Currently morthasa, I think the person's screenname is called, has a good portion of Voyager up. The last episode I saw that was loaded was The Voyager Conspiracy.
