Shatner to appear on American Pickers

So, here in the US, tomorrow (monday) night, a new episode of American Pickers will air. The promos said things like, "Frank and Mike will be going where no picker has gone before" and things like that. With a little online snooping i've discovered they will be going to William Shatner's house! I'm hoping we get to see a little bit of his house and property. It sounds like they won't be doing picking there, but will be employed by the Shat to do some 'decorating' for him. I am really looking forward to seeing this.

Wow... This must be the week game shows and reality shows jump the shark. First Jeopardy and now American Pickers.

I had to go Google what exactly the show was about. I've never heard of American Pickers. I'd be curious to see the episode only for Shatner. I enjoy him in most everything.

it was a good episode. loved how Shatner gave them a hard time about their cheesy lines.

I managed to catch a few minutes of it at the gym but not Shatners segment.
The intro where she calls them on the road in TN and fawn all over Shatner.

However as someone living in TN I was like, "wait The Shat has a place in KY?" How often is he there and should I stalk him for an autograph? :shifty:

what in the world is 'picking'?

*googles*

ahh . . . . boooring . . . though I would watch it just to see Shat :D

I didn't see the episode, and forgive me if I'm being Captain Obvious, but I'm assuming him having a place in Kentucky has to with him raising horses.

His love of horses escaped me. I think I was too shook up thinking, "Hey the Shat has a place just a few hrs up I-65."

That would make sense.
Anyone who saw the place confirm it was a horse ranch?
