SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

I don't watch the show anymore because of how stupid it is, but whatever the deal is with all these little Lex clones running around, are they just gonna rapidly age one of them and have that be Rosenbaum's character? And that zombie Lex who Oliver killed was the actually Lex? This has long passed the point of absurdity.

Totally agree. The comics were much more realistic. In them, when Lex died, he came back by a clone that looked different! Then when the clone died-ish, Lex made a deal with a demon to get his old, albeit more youthful, body back. Much less absurd.

It was still his eyes, and his original brain inside the clone meat pretending to be his own illegitimated Australian Son.

Imagine Hackman trying for an Ozzie Accent.

I wish thee had been more fallout from Neron's deals. People he bought the souls of have died and returned with seemingly no dibs and scars from Neron's contracts.

I wonder if that's another reason Lex is so interested in recovering the Black Lantern Rings?

The only reason I think before is because of my theory of a flash forward. I still think that will happen too. I think they're going to want to show an established Superman.

Well I don't think Lex is gonna be very welcoming to Tess considering what she's done to him after finding out what he was doing with her. I think if this clone matures into Lex and has all his old memories, he'll discover what she did with LuthorCorp and not be very happy about it. Along with aligning with the "alien". I think we will get the name change too finally. LuthorCorp will become LexCorp in the finale. Ooooh I'm excited.

They set things up where Lex is starting to forget things. When the clone reaches maturity, I don't think they're going to have him remember Clark's secret. I also think the finale is going to be about Lex vs Superman rather than the Lex/Clark dynamic we've seen on the show.

Which means all of Clark and Lex's previous history has no barring on Superman and Lex's rivalry. Which means most of this series has been meaningless.

Greg Beeman will direct the finale...

About two weeks ago, completely out of the blue, Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson called me and asked if I was available to direct the series finale of SMALLVILLE. I was and... After doing a couple of backflips... I gladly said yes!

Awesome! :)

I was hoping this would happen. Excellent news indeed. Perhaps he'll spoil the finale on his blog like he did last year's finale!

Now that Mike is back for the finale, I'm more convinced than ever that the 2015 dream from last year was a set up for a flash forward in the finale.

After the poor acting performance of the little red headed Lex in Beacon I look forward to the best Lex returning in Michael.

I half blame the writing. The actors (even guest actors) can only act with what they're given and on Smallville that's not a lot.

You mean Justin Bieber?

Learning that Michael is indeed coming back has recharged my interest in the show. I had fully planned to bail out after 'Fortune' in two weeks time, but now I'm inclined to stay with things.

I've gone back to not watching. I didn't watch Friday's episode and just have no enthusiam for this show right now. "Booster" still remains the episode I'm most excited for other than the finale it's self.

Well, Friday's ep was probably the best of the entire season, thus far. That, coupled with the news of Rosey's return has spiked my interest past the 'Meh' point.

Now it's a "Meh" with a Spockian peak of the brow.

The best episode of the season to me so far has been "Homecoming" and only because Brainy was in it. I dig that episode so much because of him lol. It ALMOST makes up for the crap the rest of the season has been.
