SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

"Dominion" & "Prophecy" will probably take care of this seasons arcs and all the iconic stuff before the events in "Finale" play out.

I hadn't thought of that; you really think the Darkseid arc will conclude before the last ep? What will they do for two hours?

They have the job of wrapping up the series too...the S10 arcs need to be out of the way...there is alot they need to do...I wouldn't want the show to end like S8. [Add] What I mean is I want all the crap out the way and the 2 hour finale be something special like a Smallville/Superman movie...we deserve it. :)

[edit] I saw this and thought it was kinda interesting...it is fan made.

They have a ton to wrap up. I suspect as I've mentioned before many times that I think we will have a flash forward in the finale. Clark's 2015 dream from last year's finale was something they said they would touch on again, we saw that in the future episode, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a flash forward in the second hour. Why am I not surprised people are still freaked out by the title? "April" must be a shipper lol.

^

I'm not really bothered by the title as much as I think it's just a bit lame. Then again, I suppose it bookends 'Pilot' better than 'Superman' would.

Well "Pilot" of course is what they call all first episode or the episode they sell to the network. They didn't have much choice in that I guess.

Not always. TOS's two pilots had actual titles, as did TNG's premier. Both Highlander and B5 shared 'The Gathering' as the title of their respective pilots, Forever Knight had 'Nick Knight', the original Doctor Who had 'An Unearthly Child' and nuWho had 'Rose'.

And those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

According to IMDB, not that i have seen it but there are two pilots for Smallville.

i have seen the cheaper smaller first pilot for for Buffy with a different actress cast as Willow, and it was awful.

[edit] I have never seen...but heard of the unaired pilot for BtVS.

^
Yeah I was just watching some of it with the "different" Willow on YT.

Yeah...anything could happen...but if it does...it has to happen fast!

Sounds fun.

^ You're covering old ground for some reason. Anyways I never thought Mike would appear on Smallville again. Looks like he burned bridges with the producers would be my guess. Going back on his original statement from two years ago that he would appear in a series finale but oh well.
