I agree completely.Voyager was a very good show, tied with TNG for being my favorite after TOS. I don't think VOY had more worse episodes than either series. I am on season 3 of my Voyager watching marathon.

However, I think if "Endgame" had been a more satisfing ending, I think many more would feel less disappointed by the series in general.
If I may, maybe Endgame didn't poison you to the entire enterprise, it just made you finally realise that Berman had been poisoning you for years? Voyager is much like divorce like that.
If any programme of a fictional nature fails it has to be put down to bad script writers. Its very rare that good writing makes a bad show.
For me there are very few episodes of Voyager that were truely horrendous and a waste of space, but as Mulgrew said these were budget restricted and thus script restricted.
Voyager had some very good stories in it, so I don't think it's a writing problem. IMO, it's largely due to production.
I'm just the opposite. If any programme of a fictional nature fails it has to be put down to bad script writers. Its very rare that good writing makes a bad show.

The writing was pretty poor for this show. I watched Dark Frontier today and was quite bored and thought the dialogue was awful. The actors must have struggled to digest it. For me it just took me out of the story.
Afterwards I watched TNG - I Borg. The script and story was so much better.
