And, shatner, i'm not exaggerating about the times I've been shot down. I have had some praise from teachers and I did win a poetry competition, so that's not too bad. It's difficult in deprived areas.

I'd either reach a rapprochement with my surroundings or change them.

I have these three projects to do and I don't think I am going to have to do any deals with the devil to get them finished. I'll be out of here when I get my degree anyway. It will have a positive effect on the place, anyway, if I get them sold, cos companies will invest in the place, even if I never get seen in the public domain, as writers do. Whether I am living there or not. I've just got to show that I'm not lazy.
