Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but I watched "Flesh and Stone" today and the Doctor mentioned that the Byzantium was a Galaxy-class."Galaxy Class" ships were first mentioned in (IIRC) The Frontier in Space, way back in 1973.![]()
Point of order: discussion of science fiction that isn't explicitly Doctor Who belongs in the Science Fiction & Fantasy forum.'Wikihistory' is one of my favourite SF short stories. It sounds like us, if we had time travel.
The first one (which she sings to the shark) is the well-known Christmas carol "In the Bleak Midwinter." The second has no official name yet as far as I know, was by Murray Gold, and certainly will show up on the CD.Anyone know what the titles are, and might they be included on the episode's score, which I read would be coming out?)
I had and still have no idea who she is, and not only did I not find her attractive, I couldn't stop laughing at her roots.
What's more ridiculous, dying your hair a month before you die (dying while dying is redundant surely?) when surely their are much more important affairs to get in order so that your roots grow out conspicuously at the last minute, or happenstancly merely not fixing your roots before you get placed in suspended animation and on show for possibly the next thousand years as people gawk at your poor hair care maintenance regime wondering "what was she thinking"?
I'm dead inside.
I hate to break it to you but I think she's still going out with Gethin Jones (TV presenter) and he's just as gorgeous as her!!
