Well according to the list I've had running all year...
Kick Ass
Four Lions
Toy Story 3
Predators
Inception
I need to give it some more though though likely, and I've still only seen each of them once so with repeated viewings my opinions might change. I suspect I'd like Predators less with a second viewing, but might like Inception more. I dunno, Inception I liked, I just didn't love. There was just too much story jammed in there. If Nolan had left it as a very intelligent heist film I think it would have been brilliant, and likely best film of the year, but the sub plot about his wife knocked it down a notch, as did an ending that made me want to throw things at the screen. I was really hoping he'd be above something so obvious.
I doubt many have seen it, but people really should try to get hold of Four Lions, I went in to see it with some trepidation but its absolutely bloody hilarious, but also thought provoking and quite sad by turns. You wouldn't think a film about suicide bombers can be funny...you'd be wrong
Aw hell might as well post the whole list...
Iron Man 2
Tron Legacy
Daybreakers
The Expendables
The A-Team
Brroklyn's Finest
Shutter Island
Centurian
Devil
Made in Dagenham
Skyline
Knight and Day
It's a Wonderful Afterlife
The Crazies
The Book of Eli
Monsters
Resident Evil:Afterlife
Prince of Persia
Clash of the Titans
The Losers
Hot Tub Time Machine
Green Zone
I think some films do need to shift around somewhat, in hindesight Iron Man 2 probably needs to be lower down, and the Crazies higher.
And yes, Green Zone is my worst film of the year, because it commits (for me) the cardinal sin, it's dull!
