Was there ever a story that had Vaughn leading up to his condition in Zero Sum Game?

And David was Sarina someone you created for said story or did we see her before somewhere?

I'm actually surprised she's not on the cover seeing as she's featured in the story more then Dax.

All that was said was that it was related to the Borg invasion depicted in the Destiny trilogy.

No, she was first in Statistical Probabilities and then Chrysalis. L'Haan was actually a character of Mack's creation, initially featured in "A Time to Kill" and "A Time to Heal'.

Just a little FYI: We also saw her Mirror Universe couterpart in Sorrows of Empire (I'm pretty sure she was in the extended edition, not sure about the original) and Warpath.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Mirror Universe L'Haan has actually appeared in more books than the Regular Universe L'Haan!

So in what's supposed to be the alternate universe, their L'Haan is as cold and calculating as our L'Haan. :guffaw:

So, random question: considering the decided backseat role Dax and Aventine took in Zero Sum Game, does anybody know of any plans to use them going forward? I'd love to see them take center stage (or at least share it, Destiny and A Singular Destiny Stye) again.

I would sure like to see more adventures of Captain Ezri Dax and the Aventine independent of canon Trek. My only beef is Ezri having made captain so fast. Granted, Picard first made captain under the same circumstances, but Ezri's a different case and the closest Jadzia came to making captain was a post-captaincy that lasted all of two episodes. Not that I wouldn't be interested in a starship Aventine novel series, which was once rumored a while back.

I'm not that far into Zero Sum game. But what I want to know is do we find out what happens to Kira? Why is she not Captain of DS9 and where is she? My guess is promoted and sitting at Starfleet Command being bored behind a desk.

^Well, in my defense...I couldn't find a serious Rush Christmas pic. The choices all stunk to high Heaven.

But hey--I'd say one of my allies on the BBS would heartily approve. :)

I don't suppose you were able to find a Christmas picture that involved promoting the actual spirit of Christmas -- generosity, brotherhood, family, giving, love -- rather than one chastising people for daring to refer to the existence of other holidays than Christmas, too?
