What? You can take out library books on a Nook?
How does this work?
I was given a classic Nook as a present recently, and I'm still trying to figure out all that I can do with it.
Wondered at first if I'd been given something just in time for it to go obsolete--but I saw the color Nook and decided I didn't like it. Plus...I'm not gonna look a gift Nook in the mouth.![]()
About the library books thing, you may want to ask your local library, since I imagine that varies. My local library has an agreement with a 3rd party e-book lender, but of course you have to have a library card & account to access it.
Does anyone know if the Nook 3G requires a subscription?
