Except they are. 'Cause it's a show.
I think his show is BS and his style of investigating is BS. That's not to say that is no truth to some of that stuff. I have no doubt that if the shit hits the fan that the Government will be safe and sound while us citizens fend for ourselves.

Well you shouldn't have any doubt, the government has openly admitted that they will fend for them selfs. You see that every time some doomsday scenario documentary airs on TV. They have private shelters.

Someone mentioned the Buildaburger group, I also have no doubt that there is a small elite making decisions for the whole world. I would imagine that in the United States alone, Congress disagrees on certain issues like abortion or gay rights in order to have something to rally around, but in reality there's something going on behind the scenes. That has been going on since the Grant admin.
Um. Yeah Congress disagrees on different topics because theres a difference of views, moral, ethics between each party. The left and the right as always existed in congress even before grant. The civil war maybe over in the sense that there is no more blood shed, but the views are the same. I come from a southern state(I am liberal though) where the majority don't believe in evolution or gays having rights. However, the northern state I came from has just the opposite views. So they don't argue on those topics to keep some "World Order" from being found out, they do it because they still can't agree with each other.
I also believe there is definitely legitimate questions to be asked. Everyone blames Bush for the financial crisis, but both parties are to blame. I've mentioned this before, but we've had the same economic policy since Nixon took us off the gold standard permanently. Alan Greenspan was not replaced once as chairman of the Fed. The Federal Reserve does not release any minutes from their meetings. The WTO. doesn't release any minutes, the G20 doesn't release any minutes. There is no public record of anything being said in these meetings, why? These people are making decisions that effect the entire Earth, yet we are not allowed to know what is being said. These are legitimate questions.
Not everyone, but the blame going to Bush is actually justified. You just don't lower taxes and fight two wars, he was to concerned with being the popular guy instead of being a president. Now government itself has always been wasteful spender. Obama is trying to fix it right now, though is getting a lot of crap, some not justified. There is a perfectly understandable reason why average everyday citizens don't get to watch those G20 meetings or the federal reserve meetings. The reason being most everyday citizens don't care for one, two they wouldn't understand what they were watching if they did, and three because not every meeting deals with things that concern us. There is a reason why it states in our constitution that we give up some of our freedoms to be ruled, because not everyone could be president of a country or even themselves. It only affects the nations not a superpower, yes while Japan and china own our debt, they can't afford to piss us off and we can't afford to piss us off, so if you watched those meetings you would probably see the same stuff every year.
As far as the 9/11 conspiracies go, I don't know about the loose change video, but we know that there was a memo entitled,"Bin Laden determined to attack." I'm sorry, but there's no excuse to not take that seriously. I know the U.S. gets a lot of threats, but Bin Laden is a serious threat that has been proven. I remember when the Cole was attacked, I read the paper that morning and it said that Bin Laden had declared war on the U.S. and I remember thinking that it was something they should take seriously. I had remembered the first WTC. attack. They should have gone in with the Seals and took him out then. These are legitimate questions to ask, but every time it is asked, they just waive it off as if it didn't happen.
Actually foreign special forces and ours have had chances to capture him, but each time at the last second pulled back. Same thing with Hitler we had him in our sights so did the British, but they never ended up taking the shot. The reason being that if you take him out the fear is that a badder thing will follow, that is a legitimate fear.
Another legitimate question to ask is why is there not enough vaccines in this country. When the bird flu and swine flu scares came out along with just the regular flu, Obama came out and admitted there weren't enough vaccines. It was all over the news, yet nobody question why.
The reason behind not having enough vaccine at first is the same reason why in the beginning of the Iraq war we had a lot of deaths, we weren't expecting a mutated from of the bird flu and we didn't have the tools to fight both regular flu and this. A lot of people asked questions, where did you get the idea that people didn't raise questions? The issue was resolved and now if it appeared again mutated form or not we will be more prepared. It was very honest of Obama to admit that the country wasn't ready, most presidents would have blamed departments.
Like I said, Ventura's show is BS., he doesn't know shit. If he does, then why not come out and say it? Governors are often left in the dark as well as most of Congress, but still they have access to resources that they could use to find info. out. If your going to investigate shit like this, then come out with hard evidence and not just suggestions. Unsolved Mysteries had more evidence than this show did.
The reason why he can't exactly come out and say anything if he did know anything is because with the seals and him being Governor he signed so called "Quiet Contracts". If he did speak out about anything whether it be from his days in the seals or his days as Governor, he would be in violation of those contracts and would get a HEAVY prison sentence.

While I agree that in congress there exists people who disagree on things like gay rights or evolution or global warming. What the conspiracy is that they just do that on the suface and maybe they believe in those things maybe they don't. It's just like Glen Beck or Sarah Palin or even W. How much of the shit they say do they actually believe and how much of it do they say just to get votes.
The idea of how the population should be controlled goes back to Jefferson and Adams. Strong centralized federal government vs. weak centralized limited government. So, yes they argue over these things, but in the big picture there is something else going on. They are deciding how the world should be. I'm talking beyond just making laws, but something more sinister. The idea is that not everyone in congress knows about it and there is just a small elite that controls things and the rest are just doing what the small elite tell them.
I'm just suggesting that maybe it's not an organized sinister conspiracy, but congress has gone along with and knew about policies that have lead us to this crisis among other crisis'. When the bottom fell out one side blamed the other and vice versa, but in reality they all had a hand in the till. They all played a part in this. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, they are all guilty. You can trace it back as far as you want, but the current housing bubble began 30 years ago with 30 years of bad policies. Congress may disagree on public policy, but they all agree on pushing for finacial policies that lined thier pockets and allowed for FIRE. Finance, Insurance and Real Estate to riegn supreme. Obama talks about giving the Republicans the keys to the car, but Congress let Wallstreet drive.
So the legitimate questions don't lie in sort of conspiracy, but who is really to blame beyond Wallstreet. In all of this mess Bernie Madoff is the only one sitting in jail, why? Those are the questions that should be asked. Who relaxed the rules? Who stands to gain? Who did what? Congress is not going to investigate themselves are they?
As far as Ventura goes, well I know he probably signed some sort of agreement, that's where I call bullshit because something like that should not even exist. You shouldn't have to die for exercising your first amendment rights. He should break that agreement because the people have the right to know if their government is hiding the existence of aliens or if the government is planning some sort of population control, we have the right to know. If enough people grew a pair and spoke out, then the government can't do shit. Ventura is in the public eye, if somnething happens to him, it will be noticed. If he dosen't speak out, then he's no better than the people he's accusing of contributing to a conspiracy.

Your right in that case, no-one should die or get a heavy prison sentence for using the first amendment. However, will I doubt he really knew anything conspiracy wise while governor, the fact that he was a navy seal(considered to be special forces), mean that he participated in activities that he can't talk about, unless of course the military says he can for some history channel program. It is my guess this show is just to make a living, the producers used the fact that he is a conspiracy theorist himself, the fact that he was a navy seal, and governor to set up the plot. They titled the show correctly Conspiracy Theories. Everyone know area 51 is suspicious, I don't think that place is hiding anything but new military technology, that they don't want on national TV just yet.
The one thing your right in is that We The People have all the power, we just don't know it. We're given the right to overthrow our government if we feel betrayed by it, we could shutdown this country if we flexed an ounce of the power we really have. However, not everyone cares to read the constitution, not everyone gets into politics, most everyone lives that day to day life.
Interestingly enough--say what you will about Glenn Beck, but he once recounted an incident that happened when he met Ventura. Beck ended up being totally wierded out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAIkfl3aiuc
As Glenn notes, "Guy's nuts!"
Takes one to know one. Couldn't help myself.
And that's what they count on. They love it that we watch Glen Beck and Kieth Olberman. They love it that we watch Flava Flav and Kim Kardashian. They love that we blame Bush and Blame Obama. All of that takes the attention away from what they are doing. It's the old magician, look over here while the real trick is going on in the other hand. It keeps the masses at bay and dumbed down. I have no beef with any Military personnel who has done questionable things, they are just following orders. Harry Truman had a sign on his desk in the oval office that said," the buck stops here." It's the people that give those orders that should be held accountable. I just wish that some of those military guys who clearly don't like what they were ordered to do, in Vietnam, Iraq or elsewhere, would speak up. I imagine the FBI or some other organization could and would protect them. When things get leaked out bit by bit then it becomes conspiracy and nobody takes it seriously.
As far as Area 51 goes, what do we need so much secrecy for? All they have to do is say, "yeah there is a military base and we develop new aircraft there. We cannot divulge what materials are used to create the aircraft, but here is an artist rendition of what the craft looks like," so on and so forth. Then unveil the new craft when it's done. Who knows, maybe the population might just get behind it instead of wanting the place closed down. Furthermore, why do we need a huge air force anyway. The cold war is over, Alqueda doesn't have an airforce. If there is aliens or alien tech. hanging around, once again what gives them the right to decide whether or not we can handle it or not? The truth is, there is some truth in all conspiracy theories. In that truth is the real problem that will derail the government. You can't carry on a lie forever.
As for all those "in the know" fools that come out of the woodwork to tell supposed secrets they know are all full of BS too. They never have any proof to back up what they are saying and most of them look like losers who are trying to act cool, but really aren't. If they truly worked for the govt and knew govt secrets then I highly doubt they would be talking about what they know. The govt is dirty and could easily take care of these guys if it wanted to.
Look at the soldier who gave up stuff to wikileaks. They are all over him, now why would the US govt just ignore some former employee who is spilling the beans on UFOs or secret govt experiments? This show is total BS.
And the very fact they can't prove it is proof the government is covering it up.

Yeah, they do love it when we watch Kimmy and Clock guy, but I don't think(just my opinion) that its because there is some secret world government that controls everything. I also don't think that someone who commits murder in the military should just be able to say I was commanded and be set free. Its true that the military trains the troops to be mindless dogs that follow all commands, but they still can't take a thought process away from someone, its not like they will get shot for saying no. There people that take conspiracies seriously, but the population as a whole lives a day to day scheduled life and don't care. As for area 51, like I said they don't want other countries to know what the military is up to. If you have some new invention that gives you an advantage, you don't want the competition to know. Especially if the tools to create it is abundant.
Hate to break it to you, but the cold war never really ended. Its just in a different form and with more nations in the mix. The military size is not about being ready for war, its who has the biggest junk fight.

But what proof do they have that he govt is covering up anything? I served 12 years in the US Army and was able to get access to Top Secret info that people would find very interesting and fascinating. I was only once sworn to secrecy, but I could tell what I know, but I don't, not out of fear of the US Govt, but because it would jepordize lives and I have no proof to back up what I saw, read and was briefed on. I will say that one thing the mainstream media writes about is waaaayy off base when they do mention it. Every time I come across what some guy thinks he knows what he is talking about when it comes to this particular item I laugh and shake my head because he is totally wrong.
